Death
This will provide for the payment of full sum assured in
case of death of a member of the group due to any cause
whatsoever.
Group Accidental Death Benefit
This will provide for an additional amount equal to the
sum assured payable if the death results from an accident.
Group Accidental Disability Benefit
This will provide for a certain percentage of the basic
sum assured (according to the schedule, which is in line
with the Labor Laws) payable when permanent disability results
from an accident.
Fortnightly Income Benefit
This will provide for an amount equal to half of the monthly
salary subject to a maximum of Rs. 1,500 payable fortnightly
for a maximum period of one year in case of temporary total
disability cause by an accident.
Group Natural Disability Benefit
This will provide for the payment of the full sum assured
in case of permanent and total disability due to natural
causes.
Group Terminal Illness Benefit
This benefit provides for the advance payment of 50% of
sum assured (subject to a maximum limit) in case of diagnosis
of Terminal Illness. The remaining 50% sum assured will
be payable on death.
Group Critical Illness Cover
This benefit can be secured as an independent policy and
it provides for payment of sum assured if a member contracts
any of the following ten illnesses.
Heart Attack Cancer Major Organ Transplant Stroke Paralysis Kidney Failure Deafness Blindness Multiple Sclerosis Coronary Artery By-Pass Surgery
Group Loan Insurance
This benefit can be secured as an independent policy and
it provides for full re-payment of outstanding loan in case
of death of the member.
Group Provident Fund Insurance
This benefit can be secured as an independent policy and
it provides for payment of a multiple of Provident Fund
balance on death of the member.
