Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed is the MD & CEO of EFU Life, bringing over three decades of professional experience in the insurance industry, including eight years with the public sector insurer. He is an Actuary by qualification and a Certified Director from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Prior to being appointed as CEO, Ali was the Chief Strategy Officer at EFU Life. In the earlier part of his career, he started as a trainee, and over the last three decades has risen through the ranks to reach an executive management level. Over the years, Ali has been directly responsible for driving product innovation, investment fund management, distribution channels, growth segments and brand development, while also shaping and implementing the company’s long-term strategy with the Board. Mr. Saifuddin N. Zoomkawala has been associated with EFU Group since 1964. He served as Managing Director of EFU

Prior to Barclays, he has held significant roles at Rothschild and Standard Chartered Bank Throughout his career, Daanish has provided expert advice to senior management and boards of large, global companies, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and capital raising to drive growth and value creation. Daanish is a Chartered Accountant, accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He earned his degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
Ms. Rukhsana Shah joined the government of Pakistan after her CSS in 1979. She served as Economic Counsellor at the Pakistan High Commission in London, DG Textiles at the Export Promotion Bureau, Directing Staff at the National School of Public Policy, Senior Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Commerce and retired as Federal Secretary, Ministry of Textile Industry in Islamabad after 35 years of government service.
In 2015, she set up the Autism Welfare Trust in Lahore, with an office in Karachi, to create awareness about Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in Pakistan, and to train parents and teachers of special and mainstream schools in the management of these disabilities. From January 2016, she served as a nominee director of the Ministry of Finance on the Board of First Women Bank Limited for three years. At present, she is an independent director of Suzuki Motor Company in Pakistan and Trustee of Future Trust.
She completed her Directors' Training Programme in December 2017 from LUMS. He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Lucky Electric Power Company Limited, a 660 MW PP subsidiary of Lucky Cement. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of Hub Power Holdings Ltd. a subsidiary of HUBCO, Pakistan's largest IPP. In this capacity, he led the management of HUBCO’s growth portfolio, including the evaluation of onshore and offshore acquisitions, project financing, economic evaluation of growth projects, and financial re-engineering to support the growth vision of the Company.

Ahsen Ahmed has been working in the textile sector for over 15 years. He has developed and researched new components for textile auxiliaries. He has also developed multiple performance filament yarns for specialized applications. He has also contributed in the export-oriented textile sector by setting up the weaving industry and buying house for denim garment for the purpose of export.
He has a degree in Economics from Denison University, Granville, Ohio. Currently, he holds directorship in Abid Industries and Sind Industries since 2003. In addition to that, he is also a director in Denim Dynamics from 2017.
