Name: Irfan Madhani
Designation: Sales Consultant
Branch: Karachi Garden
I joined EFU Life in December 2010, and on the 20th of December 2025, I completed fifteen years with the organization. I would like to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to my dear friend Mr. Shehzad Pyarali, who was building his team in that year for Karachi Garden Group, for introducing me to this remarkable career opportunity. I completed my post-graduation from SZABIST, Karachi, in 2011.
It is often said that individuals enter the insurance industry not by choice but by chance; in my case, it was a combination of both. EFU Life provides immense opportunities for personal and professional growth. The leadership at EFU Life leads from the front, and I have personally witnessed a culture where all individuals are treated with fairness, care, and respect. The organization fosters values of equity, encouragement, independence, motivation, and healthy competition. I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge my family, whose continuous support has been a source of strength throughout my journey.
The message and purpose of life insurance are so impactful that I am deeply passionate about sharing them with others. Through EFU Life, I was honored with the opportunity to serve as the Country Chair of Pakistan at MDRT from 2019 to 2021, which is a premier global association of financial professionals. This experience further motivated me to strive for higher professional excellence. Meeting new people energizes me and keeps me motivated, allowing me to approach each day with renewed enthusiasm and positivity.
My hobbies include reading, serving humanity, and traveling. I believe these interests help an individual gain deeper self-awareness at every stage of life. Life is a continuous process of change, and adapting to evolving circumstances while maintaining a positive mental attitude is essential for growth and success.
During my first Annual Sales Conference at EFU Life, I had the privilege of hearing our respected former Chairman, Mr. Saifuddin Zoomkawala, who emphasized that while success should elevate one’s standard of living, it must always be accompanied by humility. I have carried these words with me ever since. My message to everyone is that humility should rise alongside success. Furthermore, continuous effort, consistent practice, and unwavering pursuit of one’s goals are vital. Never lose hope; learn from mistakes and transform them into opportunities. It is worth remembering that Usain Bolt practiced for four years before achieving the nine-second milestone in the 100-meter race and becoming the greatest sprinter of all time.
