The award was presented at the Global Shariah Conference & Awards 2026, held on September 23, 2026, at Mövenpick Hotel, Karachi. The conference brought together Shariah scholars, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders and professionals to discuss the practical application of Shariah principles across modern industries.
Mr. Azeem Iqbal Pirani, Chief Operations Officer & Executive Director, EFU Life, received the award on behalf of the Company and also participated as a panelist in the session “Reimagining Takaful Through Innovation, Digital Transformation and Shariah Compliance,” sharing his perspective on the evolving Takaful landscape and the role of innovation and digital transformation in the sector.
