EFU Life and Kashf Foundation Celebrate Milestone of Empowering 500,000 Women through Khushal Mustakbil Plan in Pakistan

LAHORE –Kashf Foundation in collaboration with EFU life, proudly marks a significant achievement under the Khushal Mustakbil Plan. This is a new to industry initiative, where a committee-style product has been designed to promote female financial inclusion, financial resilience and a formal pooling mechanism. The plan has successfully managed to enroll 500,000 women, empowering them with formal financial protection and peace of mind for their households.

On 17th February 2026, Kashf Foundation Management consisting of Ms. Roshane Zafar (MD & CEO), Shahzad Iqbal (CFO) along with their senior leadership team, welcomed EFU Life’s leadership team, including Mr. Mohammed Ali (MD & CEO), Ms. Nilofer Sohail (General Manager Channel Strategy & Growth Segments), and Mr. Mehboob Ali (Head of Digital & Inclusive Insurance) to celebrate this historic milestone.

This landmark moment reinforces EFU Life’s and Kashf Foundation’s shared mission of delivering innovative financial solutions to the underserved populations and especially women that create long-term value for the clients, by strengthening their financial security, enhancing financial resilience, advancing female financial inclusion and contributing to sustainable development in communities. The Khushal Mustakbil Plan reflects dedication and collaborative effort of both organizations, who invested significant time and effort to brainstorm, develop, and implement a solution that is now yielding tangible results.

Khushal Mustakbil Plan stands as a first of its kind committee style micro pension initiative in the microfinance sector launched with the vision of supporting women’s financial empowerment. This initiative demonstrates the commitment of both EFU Life and Kashf Foundation to inclusive, socially impactful, and forward-looking insurance solutions.

With continued commitment and collaboration, the product aims to insure an additional 1 million women in coming years, extending financial protection and empowerment to even more communities across Pakistan.
