Karachi - July 2, 2026. EFU Life and EFU General has partnered with BankIslami to make affordable microtakaful protection accessible to its customers via the Bank’s mobile banking application.
The partnership enables both existing and new BankIslami customers to seamlessly enroll in and pay for a wide range of affordable MicroTakaful plans directly through the Bank's mobile banking app. The offering includes health, personal accident, mobile device, digital transaction, theft, home, and travel Takaful, among other protection solutions, providing customers with convenient access to essential financial security.
The agreement was formalized during a signing ceremony held at EFU Life's Head Office in Karachi. The ceremony was attended by Nilofer Sohail, GM Channel Strategy & Growth, EFU Life Assurance; Abdul Sattar Baloch, Executive Director, EFU General; Waqas Anis, Chief Digital & AI Officer, BankIslami; along with senior representatives from the three organizations.
The collaboration reflects BankIslami's continued investment in enhancing its digital banking ecosystem while supporting EFU Life-WTO's vision of making protection accessible to every Pakistani. Together, the partners aim to broaden access to affordable, Shariah-compliant Takaful solutions through a simple digital journey that promotes financial resilience and inclusion.
